What was the highlight of Palo Alto Bed & Breakfast

Short stay in beautiful location.

We had a warm welcome which exceeded expectation. An upgrade on my room due to renovation was lovely. Clean and homely. The pool and surrounds are divine, surrounded by lush green and built around a huge tree on one side. Fairy lights + lanterns in the trees at night... stunning. Not far from the main road and a free shuttle service to dinner is offered.

Room needs a side table lamp and something to put your things on in the bathroom. The bathroom was huge but I had to put my bag on the floor and rest my belongings on the back of the toilet. A small unit or table in there would have been perfect. No WiFi in rooms.

Beautiful wooden hotel within the forest, but inexperienced staff.

Good location. Clean swimming pool.

At day 2 they forgot to provide us with clean towels, and they still forgot after we explicitly requested a pair of towels at the reception. The fact that you have to remove your shoes before approaching the reception is annoying. Perhaps a narrow carpet between the desk and stairs would be helpful. There was no decoration in the room. Quite a contrast from what was shown in the listing photos.

Very comfy and quiet place

Loved the silence around the place. Also great pool! We stayed only for a night before we headed back home, but it was a nice stay. Also they offer transfeer to airport and city center every night. Breakfast was very tasty.

Could Be better, Hopeless Staff - Training Required. Nice rooms and grounds though

Rooms were spacious and nice seating area outside the room. Garden was nice and clean.

Coffee could have been better and breakfast was something left to be desired. I asked for an extra Egg, and was told that It is chargeable, I laughed to myself then wrote a long email, next day breakfast had improved, but I never did receive a reply to my email. Staff generally hopeless and need lots of training in hospitality, not their fault, I blame the non-present owner/manager who seemed to be as elusive as a unicorn!

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet street (no traffic). The pool is also nice and kids-friendly. Close from everything (shopping malls, airport, etc.). I recommend it.

There was no drawer or wardrobe for your clothes (in the family room).

they gave us an upgrade, Pool area was nice, very peaceful...

they gave us an upgrade, Pool area was nice, very peaceful area, rooms were large, good air-con, very friendly,, there is a free shuttle in the evenings that can take you somewhere for food - we got recommended some places to go

more sun-loungers by pool, unfortunately there were some building works, no music in the cafe

It’s ok

The pool was big and there’s a shuttle bus services.

If you are going of the pictures you will be disappointed. Our room was tiny, the fridge didn’t work, the aircon was loud and didn’t really reach us because it was round a corner, the showers where cold and there was hardly any room to move. There was also construction work on the property. I don’t think they have a chef the food was undercooked or over cooked.. pasta and pizza... the waitress didn’t understand what we was saying. I think this is why they do a free shuttle bus. I understand we was in a forest but there was so much shade some of the trees could have been cut down to allow you to enjoy the pool more.

Lovely place to relax and great location to travel to other spots. Rooms weren’t amazing but okay.

Palo Alto is a very nice small hotel. The staff are great, very helpful and accommodating. Location is good, just a short ride into town and the have a free shuttle each evening. A great place to relax and travel to other spots in Palawan. Tours are great and the staff organise them for you.

The room finishings were poor. The decor finishing aren’t great, as if the builders just didn’t care. Paint brush strokes on the toilet wall behind the door and a wood screws sticking out the side of the cupboard. Our faucet also leaked on the floor. The aircon in room A didn’t work very well, if at all, it was set to the lowest temp constantly but never cooled the room. Not sure what the other rooms are like but these are my only complains.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is very quiet and location is very good. They have free shuttle from airport to property and also for night free shuttle to city center.
